Gary Glitter vs Lostprophets (First Impressions)

WILL BE REPOSTED ON YOUTUBE SOON!!

It’s a kid toucher two-fer featuring videos from Gary Glitter and Lostprophets. Mues and Dillon first watch two of Glitter’s videos from the early 70s, “Rock n Roll Part One” and “Don’t You Wanna Touch Me” as well as Lostprophets’s mini movie “For He’s a Jolly Good Fellow” and try to decide which convicted sex offender’s music is better.

  1. Dillon couldn’t place where he’d heard “Do You Wanna Touch Me?” before. It was covered in the 80’s by Joan Jett. That’s probably the version he’s thinking of, although Glitter’s was first.

  2. I had the misfortune of seeing Lostprophets in 2012 when Cherri Bomb opened for them. CB are all my friends and this was when all the girls were like 14-15 years old. Needless to say, I was quite pissed when I found out this guy was convicted. Ana (the mom of Rena and Nia) had to convince me that they hadn’t spent any time with this sicko.

  3. Wow, the two-drummer setup makes absolutely NO sense with Gary Glitter. If this was a jam band with polyrhythmic interests, like the Dead or the Allman Brothers Band, it would be justified, but with a beat like this? It’s not like a guitar riff becomes 100 times better if you multitrack it 100 times.
